Some of his formal training came from Gotta Dance Atlanta and the Joel Hall Dance Center where he trained in African, hip-hop, jazz, modern, tap, ballet, and breakdance. He continued his training in capoeira, acrobatics, and contemporary dance when he was asked to be a company member for Chicago’s daring fusion company, Chicago Dance Crash. He then moved to Chicago where he has been fortunate to perform for Culture Shock Chicago, Chicago Dance Crash, the Seldoms, 5 Star Boogie, Elephant Filmworks, the Oprah Winfrey Show, Johnny Dangerous, and Kid Sister with Kanye West.  From 2012 thru 2015, Daniel was senior company member with Chicago Dance Crash where he developed choreography for the company and trained the other company members. He has also worked with such choreographers as Jon Lehrer, Stephanie Martinez, Nick Pulpillo, and Jessica Deahr. He was a featured dancer in the short film, “Wonderland or Humans who talk and dance.” Daniel has choreographed for Ballet theater of Illinois, Jazz theater of Illinois, Deerfield Dance Orchesis, and many other competitive dance teams.
