CCC Top Spirit Scholar Award

$750 and $500 scholarships

We are excited to announce we are accepting applications from qualifying Top Spirit Leaders in our community for the 24-25 season.

Champion Cheer Central has established the CCC Top Spirit Scholar Award to recognize and reward student cheer and dance athletes for their model character, sportsmanship, academic achievement, and service to their schools & communities.

Award winners will be chosen based on the criteria listed below. The 2 award recipients will be announced at our Lake Erie National Championships, April 5 - 6, 2025 at Erie Insurance Arena. We are so excited to meet and learn more about these amazing young athletes.

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to any senior that has participated in a 2024-2025 season CCC event and has been accepted and enrolled in a 4-year degree-granting institution of higher learning.

Judging Criteria

Once all submissions have been received, the entries will be reviewed and scored based on:

Character and a high moral standard as determined by the essay and letters of recommendation
Service to school & community
Academic achievement

One athlete will be selected to receive a $750 award and another for a $500 award.

Write an essay - 300 to 500-words about what cheerleading or dance has meant to you, what you have learned from your cheer/dance experiences & accomplishments, and how those lessons will help you in the future.
Get two letters of recommendation
Enclose a photo

Any applications received after this date will not be considered.
